Who Else Wants a Happier and Healthier Pet?
Have you ever wanted to take a spur of the moment weekend get-away? What a great idea, what fun! But the first thing that rushes through your mind - what am I going to do with my pets?
You call the kennel, fortunate for you they have two places available. After work on Friday you rush home, get your pet, rush over to the kennel and patiently wait an hour - only to learn that you haven't kept up with your shots! You authorize all immunizations to be administered, otherwise you can't leave it - an extra $ 50 you didn't plan on, "ChaChing" - and then leave for your weekend retreat!
No, that's not the way it works, is it? You have to go home and pack because you've been an hour and a half at the kennel. Right? The fleeting thoughts as you drive home is the terror in your pets eyes....you know that look, don't you? You shake it off, "I deserve this time away!", you tell yourself. After all you've been working hard - you assure yourself that your pet will be fine.
Finally at 8 pm you leave the house and spend a refreshing weekend away, only to return at midnight on Sunday evening, with a 6 am alarm clock waiting for you. But you can't pick up your pet on Sunday night, you have to rush over to the kennel first thing Monday morning and, guess what, patiently wait an hour because everyone else that wants to pick up their pet before they go to work is waiting in line with you. Another hour of frazzled nail biting stress.
Is the stress worth it?
Oh, but your pet is so glad to see you! Where have you been, why did you leave me? You're happy too and you go to give it a big hug - "Whew, what's that smell!?" Oh my, that stinks - and you do your best to keep your distance. That's the "kennel smell" - a free bonus reminder of your fun weekend! It's eerie, isn't it, you think you'll never forget that smell - until you want to go away again and it never crosses your mind. It smacks you in the face on Monday morning, doesn't it?
All is well, though, you go home drop your pet off and head to work. You come home only to find a disaster of Biblical proportions - poop everywhere - your nice housetrained pet has suddenly forgot all his manners, or maybe, maybe you really did hear "vengeance is mine" as you were leaving to go to work!?
What if you could avoid all of this?
What if you could leave your pet at home in its familiar surroundings and have a reliable and trustworthy friend take care of it? That would be great wouldn't it? You can call a "friend," like someone we know that stopped by once in nine days! You know friends are put out taking care of your pets - that's why you generally don't call them - because you'd feel put out if you were called! Wouldn't you?
What you need is a professional pet sitter to come to your place, feed and water your pet, walk it, and play with it a couple of times per day! That's where we come in.
